About the Artwork:
The silverline metaphor in the clouds evokes a sense of optimism and hope amidst the uncertainties of life. It describes the fleeting but radiant moment when sunlight illuminates the edges of clouds, casting a shimmering silver hue against the sky. Symbolically, it represents the idea that even in the midst of challenges and darkness, there is always a glimmer of light and possibility. Just as the silverline emerges unexpectedly, so too can moments of clarity and brightness emerge from difficult circumstances, reminding us to seek beauty and possibility even in the most challenging times.
I have always been fascinated by the clouds and how they move, constantly shape-shifting. Then, I read the writings of Osho, which added a layer of meaning. One of my favorite quotes of his is: "The mind is like a cloud, and meditation is the process of watching that cloud pass by without getting caught up in it." As someone who practices meditation and Tai-Chi daily, I can totally relate to that. The clouds remind me that everything in this universe is in constant change. Clouds are like thoughts, coming and going. It's good to be aware of them but not to get too attached.
