About the Artwork:

In this painting, I wanted to explore the concept of innate human longing for tactile experience in a world dominated by technology. The spaceman's gloved hand, frozen in a moment of hesitation, became the focal point, symbolizing the universal desire to connect with the tangible amidst the overwhelming artificiality of modern existence—a desire encapsulated in the phrase "touch the grass." The lush green moss clinging to the rugged rock surface served as a poignant reminder of nature's vitality, starkly contrasting with the clinical sterility of the spacesuit. Through my art, I aimed to provoke introspection, inviting viewers to contemplate their own relationship with the physical world in an increasingly virtual age.
