About the Artwork:

The Ukrainian human barbie inspired me to create this painting. This young and beautiful woman went through hundreds of plastic surgeries in order to transform her body into a barbie doll figure. I made an attempt to give her an aura of some sort of a saint of an Hindu goddess, as she meditates while staring at the viewer with her big penetrating eyes. The landscape at the back was inspired by an artificial indoor sea. An uncanny experience that a gigantic stadium offers. My idea for this painting was that the viewer will be faced with questions about the artificial aspect of spirituality.
